Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This policy covers both the nezamanoldu.com website and the When Did It Happen? Android application.
What we collect
Playing the game requires no account, no email address and no sign-in. We do not ask for personal information.
Only when you submit a score to the daily leaderboard is the following sent to our server and stored:
- The nickname you chose
- Your score for that day
- How long you took to finish
- The date of the game
Submitting a score is optional. If you don't submit, no data leaves your device.
Your nickname is public
The nickname, score and duration you submit are visible to everyone on that day's leaderboard. For that reason we recommend choosing a nickname that does not identify you.
What stays on your device
The following are stored only on your device and never sent to us: your game progress, statistics, streak, language and theme preference, and the nickname you used before. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Analytics and advertising
The website uses Google Analytics to measure usage. Neither the website nor the mobile app currently shows advertising; the mobile app contains no analytics tools either. If advertising or a new analytics tool is added, this policy will be updated beforehand.
Retention and deletion
Score records are kept so that leaderboards for past days can be shown. If you want a submitted record deleted, write to info@nezamanoldu.com with the nickname and the date of the game.
Third parties
No personal data beyond your nickname, score and duration is collected. Your data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Data sent to Google Analytics for website usage measurement is the exception.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13.
